The Trump administration will offer a “$1 million” credit to hotels that renovates their space, the White House said Monday.
The Trump administration announced the plan, which is designed to help owners of office buildings save on maintenance costs, as it announced a $500 million infrastructure package last week.
The package includes the expansion of roads and bridges, a new high-speed rail system and new infrastructure investments in airports, energy and ports.
The hotel credit, if approved by Congress, would be in addition to the $2 million that the White house already provided last year.
Trump administration officials had previously said the credit would be $1.4 million for projects that have a total value of $250 million or more.
The White House did not say how much the hotel credit would apply to.
