Iowa State University announced Thursday that it has installed $10,632,664 worth of renovations to its renovation of the old John Hancock Building in Ames.
The university’s chief administrative officer, Mark E. Anderson, said the work includes the renovation of six floors of the building.
The total cost is $9,000,000.
Anderson said the project also includes $1,500,000 for renovation of a second floor.
Iowa State has received federal funding for the project.
Iowa officials said they expect to begin construction in the fall of 2019.
